What Simple Things That Bring Children Pleasure

  

As you know it has been raining for a really looooong time now.  The city had left a note on our door last week saying that they were going to be repaving our street this week.  Well they haven't been able to since it has been raining all weekend and week long.  So today the sun finally came out.  I told the kids to go out and suck up all the vitamin D they could before it went away. Anyway, when we got up this morning they were tearing up our road.  Needless to say Hogan is in hog heaven.  He is loving every second of it barely pulling himself away from the door long enough to get dressed this morning.  Who knew that the city gave free babysitting!  Wow what a treat.  Anyway it made me realize that we as adults don't take enough time out of our busy schedules to take pleasure in the little things of life.  He would have stayed there watching them all day if we didn't have to leave to pick Embree from school.  So as I end this blog today I encourage you to take a little time out today to find pleasure in the little things.  I sure did and it feels sooo good.
